Good evening, ladies and gentleman\u2019s, my name is Diogo Isidoro, and I am the CEO of \"Cenas\", a small yet promising Online clothing shop.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>

Uau, that sound professional, right? Like it came from a 40-year-old businessman in a suit, but no, I'm just a 19-year-old boy with this dream of creating his own thing yet without much experience on it. Let me introduce myself (in a proper way this time):<\/p>

So, hello again, my name is Diogo Isidoro and like I said before, despite my lack of experience in blogging, website development, social media, etc. I still have a desire to create my own thing! I'm from Portugal but, currently, I study Business and Management at the University of Portsmouth, where I also, obviously live. My main purpose with this online shop is to grow as an entrepreneur and, in addition, provide you guys with cool and unique clothing designs. Before I go into a deeper explanation about how this shop is going to work, why did I start this project or why am I also creating a blog alongside the shop I just want to make clear that I will use a more spontaneous concept, on my blog, product designs and descriptions as I want to engage more with you guys, rather than be this super formal businessman. With all of those things settled, let\u2019s dive in!<\/p>

So, what exactly inspired me to embark on this journey of creating my own brand?<\/strong><\/p>

Well, this is a project that I\u2019ve been thinking about for a long time ago, I always wanted to do something creative,\u00a0and I mention my university above for a reason, it's because of help from them and Teemill that I have since chance. At the beginning of October, my university introduced me to this project called \"Social Enterprise Challenge\" which is simply, as the name suggests, an opportunity to set up your own micro-social enterprise. This year, my university partnered with Teemill, a website where you can design and build your own products (you can find out more about Teemill on the \u201cOur Journey\u201d tab). I found this a perfect opportunity for me and started straightway creating my designs, website, and so forth.<\/p>

How is the shop going to work?<\/strong><\/p>

Firstly, I will publish my \"Main Designs\" more based on the logo's main colour(orange) and then I will try to publish other collections with different themes as frequently as possible after the release of the mainline. With every new collection (including this one) a blog post will be published alongside it to explain my inspirations, my goals, and the collection itself, for you guys to get a general overview. Even though I don't have any blogging experience like I mentioned before, I still think it's a great idea, I haven\u2019t seen many other small online shops do this type of thing very often and I believe it would be interesting for you to learn about the entire process behind the scenes. Also, I hope to use this as an opportunity to improve my English writing skills and widen my English vocabulary. It is also worth mentioning that all of the photos featured here are taken by me and by my kindly friend Efimia Filiou, don\u2019t forget to check her Instagram! \u2013 @filclick. I did this because I want the website to feel as unique as possible. In the future, I\u2019ll try to do more photoshoots with Efimia in order to promote my brand and at the same time make it more engaging. Propz for you, Efi :)<\/p>

Why \"Cenas\"?<\/strong><\/p>

A lot of you guys might wonder why my shop is called \"Cenas\", especially if you're not Portuguese. So basically, \"Cenas\" is a cool Portuguese slang for \"things\" and without a deep explanation that is exactly what my brand is all about: random and different things that I find cool or interesting. Since I don't want to stick with one theme for my brand, I choose not to have any single theme but rather have multiple themes at the same time.<\/p>

My Logo<\/strong><\/p>

The Box, a simple yet awesome design that demonstrates the creativity and the numerous possibilities of creation in such a cool way, I just love it! Even though I had the initial idea for it, I wasn't the one who created it, yeah, I might be many things, but I am not an artist. Catarina Ramos, (@catsartsacc on Instagram) she's the brilliant mind behind it. She's also an interesting admirer of ideas (like me) and is a university art student in Porto, Portugal. Catarina was the one who came up with the logo design as well as with some product designs and I sincerely hope she will appear in future collections! Propz for you, Caty ;)<\/p>

Finally, ...<\/strong><\/p>

I just hope you guys like the designs and this whole project as much as I enjoyed making it, which is by far the biggest I ever created. Also, if you guys can send me some feedback, as I am new to these things - that would be much appreciated :).
